Massive deforestation, primarily driven by charcoal consumption, results in the destruction of approximately 200,000 hectares of forest annually.
Costly and Dangerous Alternatives
Households that rely on candles, kerosene, or charcoal face severe health risks (toxic fumes, respiratory illnesses), safety hazards (fires), and financial burdens (high costs).
